The client requested an entryway hall treatment that complemented her unique floor tiles. We used an encaustic technique, in which color pigments are suspended in wax, to achieve a range of depth and color that suited the formality of the home. Each of the twelve layers was rubbed on by hand, which resulted in a multi-dimensional tone that perfectly matched the decor.
