The Ohio Statehouse, c. 1861
Columbus, Ohio
The Ohio Statehouse remains as one of the true architectural gems of the United States. Recently, however, the restorative paint finish began to peel off the walls. High-tech monitoring was conducted to help determine causes of these paint failures. We were able to map the problems and outline a course of corrective action for the decorative interiors. This was imperative considering the scaffolding alone cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
